12 Setting the L anguage If the L ucca is switched on f or the fi rst time, US English is used as the standard language. If necessar y , you ma y have t o set the desir ed language f or the menus and the voice output: T urn on the Lucca using t he Power butt on.

45 Changing the Order • Mo ve rout e point up: Select the r oute point t o be mov ed. T ouch the Mor e button. T ouch the Mo ve target up butt on. The Itinerary menu is display ed again, the select ed rout e point is mov ed up in the rout e list by one position.

Calculating a Route A planned rout e can also be calculat- ed without GPS r eception so that y ou can gain an ov er view of the trip. In this case, the fi rst defi ned r oute point is set as t he star ting point of the r oute.

50 Disturbed GPS Reception A message appears after ent ering the destination if no adequat e GPS signal is receiv ed. • If you ar e in an enclosed room, mov e to t he outside. The Lucca r e- quir es a ver tical line t ow ards the sky . If the GPS r eception is disturbed during the destination guidance, the navigation is st opped.
51 W orking with the Map Map Operation In this section y ou learn which in- f or mation and which pr ocessing op- tions are a vailable in the map view . Depending on whet her you displa y a map without or during the na vigation, dif f erent options ar e available f or op- eration.

61 Additional F unctions during Navigation The f ollowing functions can be used during a navigation: • Inser ting an interim destination • Skipping a stage • Blocking r oute segments Inser ting an Interim Destination During the na vigation, you can inser t a new int erim destination at any time.
62 Approaching the Ne xt Destination This function is only av ailable during a navigation on a r oute wit h at least one int erim point. Use this function if y ou want t o skip the ne xt rout e point. T ouch the Ne xt destination but- t on to appr oach the ne xt t o one rout e point.
63 Briefl y touc h any position on the map. Select the Block road entr y . The Bloc k road menu displa ys. Ent er the number of kilometr es, star ting with your current posi- tion, which y ou want t o block. The rout e is recalculat ed and the block ed rout e segment is evaded.

70 Product Inf ormation T ouch this fi eld to displa y the ver - sion of the map being used and the ver sion of the navigation soft- ware . ➜ GPS Mode of Operation The Global P ositioning Syst em (GPS) was de veloped in the 70s b y the US militar y .
71 If the L ucca receives t he signals from at least 3 sat ellites, it can de t er mine its position and displa y it on the map. This position can then be used as the star ting point for a r oute calculation. Since a positioning and position dis- pla y is car ried out once ev er y second, you can vie w your mo vement on the map.
72 Push the SD card int o the SD card slot accor ding to t he mar king on the slo t until the card engages. Selecting MP3 Mode If you ar e in a dif f erent operating mode, Press t he Menu button longer than 3 seconds. The main menu displa ys. T ouch the Music Pla yer butt on.
73 T ouch the fi le t o which y ou want t o list en by using the arr ow s to scr oll up and down in t he list. The MP3 menu is display ed again and the select ed MP3 fi le star ts pla ying. Pla yback the MP3 File T o select the ne xt fi le in the MP3 list, t ouch the button in t he MP3 menu.

The fi rst picture in t he picture fi le recognised b y the L ucca is dis- pla yed. ➜ Selecting a Picture fi le T o select the ne xt picture in the fi le list, t ouch the ne xt fi le by us- ing the arro ws t o scroll down on the Pictur es Viewer menu.

NL De Lucca is voorzien van een nieuwe aan-/uitschak ellogica! Er zijn twee uitsc hakelt oestanden van de Lucca: De ruststand (de Power knop kort indrukken). Het volledig uitsc hakelen van alle functies (langer dan 3 seconden op de Power knop drukken).
