41 ENGLISH Detachable contr ol panel Theft prot ection The device is eq uipped with a detachable control panel (fl ip-r elease panel) as a wa y of pro t ecting your eq uipment against theft. The device is w or thless to a thief without this control panel.
42 Switch-off time (OFF TIMER) After opening the contr ol panel, the device is switched off af ter an adjustable time. Y ou can set this time fr om 0 t o 30 seconds. Press the MENU•OK butt on 5 . Press the or button 4 r epeat edly until the displa ys sho ws "OFF TIMER".
43 ENGLISH Adjusting the v olume Y ou can adjust the volume in incr ements from 0 (off) t o 66 (maximum). T o incr ease the v olume, turn the volume contr ol 7 clockwise. T o decr ease the v olume, turn the volume contr ol 7 count er - clockwise. Setting the po wer -on v olume Y ou can set the po wer -on volume.

45 ENGLISH Radio mode This device is eq uipped with an RDS radio receiv er . Many of the r eceivable FM stations broadcast a signal that no t only carries the programme but also additional inf ormation such as the station name and pr ogramme type (PT Y).
