8 Switc hing the c ar audio syst em on/off The car audio system can be s witched on/off in a number of w a ys. Swit ching t he c ar audio system on/ off wit h t he ignit ion If the car audio system has been con- nected to your v ehicle ignition, it is pos- sible to s witch it on and off with the igni- tion.

Speed-dependent volume adjust ment This function automatically adjusts the volume to your driving speed. RD S funct ion This car audio system has been equipped with an RDS r adio receiver .
12 ➮ Press MENU 8 . ➮ Press : repeatedly until “SENS” appears in the displa y . ➮ Press : . The currently selected setting will ap- pear in the displa y . “SENS HI” indicates the highest le vel of sensitivity , “SENS LO” the lowest. If you select “SENS LO”, “lo” will light up in the displa y .

14 Adjust ing t he t uner This car audio system has been equipped with a multiband tuner . The tuner can be adjusted to accommodate countr y-specific requirements. The av ailab le regions are: Amer ica, Europe , Asia and Thailand. The tuner is not fully functional unless it has been set to the country in which it is used.

16 Swit ching t he display mode ➮ T o s witch the displa y between the tr ack number and time or the tr ac k number and elapsed playing time or track number and CD name, press / DIS 7 for longer than two seconds once or repeatedly until the desired display becomes visible.
