40 Detaching the contr ol panel Press the button 2 . The control panel opens out t ow ards y ou. Hold the control panel by its right side and then pull the control panel straight out of the brack et. Notes: The device is switched of f af ter a time preset by you.

42 Note: T o pr ot ect your hearing, the pow er -on volume is limited to the value "38". If the volume befor e switching of f was higher and the "L AST V OL" setting was selected, the device switches on again with the value "38".
43 ENGLISH Switching the confirmation beep on/off The syst em will output a confirmation beep for some functions if you keep a button pressed do wn for longer than tw o seconds, for instance, when assigning a radio station to a station preset butt on.

46 Setting the sensitivity of station seek tuning Y ou can choose whether the radio should only tune into stations providing good r e - ception or whether it can also tune into those with a weak r eception.
