44 R ADIO OPE R A TION Optimising Radio Recept ion T reble cut in t he presence of interference ( H ICUT) The HICUT function improv es the sound when radio reception is poor (FM only). When interf erence is being experienced, the treble is automatically cut, which therefore also reduces the le v el of in- terf erence.
