46 3 Adjusting the volume Turn the knob to adjust the volume as desired. The volume level selected will appear in the display. When the unit is switched on, it will automatically play at the pre-set volume (ON VOL). It is possible to adjust the ON VOL (re- fer to “DSC programming - ON VOL”).

66 Traffic announcement priority on/off If the priority for traffic announcement pro- grammes is activated, “TA” will light up in the display. To switch the priority on or off: • Press the TA button. If you press TA while a message is being broadcast, this message will be interrupted.

The operating panel will fold down forwards. • Insert the cassette with Side A or 1 facing up without the use of force.
68 This unit is equipped with a real-time counter which calculates the current playing time. After a new cassette has been insert- ed, the real-time counter will switch to a synchronisation phase briefly. During this time, SYNC will appear in the dis- play.

72 MIX You can have the CD tracks played in ran- dom order. The MIX function is active when “MIX” is highlighted in the display. You can choose the following MIX functions: MIX CD The tracks on the selected CD will be played in random order. The next disc will be se- lected in numerical order.

74 Cloc k - Time This car stereo is equipped with a built-in clock which automatically takes advantage of RDS to ensure highly accurate time-keep- ing (hours, minutes). For the clock to function properly with RDS, an RDS station with the CT function (CT – clock time) must be received.
