4 How to Use This appliance is for household use only and is for boiling water only. Before first use, wash the interior of the kettle and the removable scale filter with soapy water and rinse. BOILING WATER 1. To boil water, press the lid release to open the lid (A).
6 5 Care and Cleaning This appliance contains no user-serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified service personnel. • Before cleaning, be sure the base is unplugged and the kettle has cooled completely. Empty any remaining water from the kettle. • Pull out the scale filter for cleaning.
