6 Plan activities to give carpet time to dry . Remove easily moved furniture (chairs, lamps, coffee/cocktail tables, etc.) from room if needed. Vacuum carpet thoroughly . Decide where to begin — and end — your job. Clean in 3’ X 4’ sections, starting in areas farthest from exit.
7 With your foot, press the red Power Switch [located in foot of unit] ON. With your foot, press the Detent Lever on right side of Lower Body . Depress Spray T rigger to spray cleaning solution. Do not overwet. T o suction up water , repeat motion over same area without depressing the Spray T rigger .
8 Attach Bare Floor T ool to unit. QuickWash (1970 series) — remove Brush before attaching Bare Floor T ool. Fill Clean W ater/Solution T ank with BISSELL Hard Floor Solutions ™ to the formula fill line. Fill the rest of the T ank with hand hot (NOT BOILING) tap water to the water fill line.
*QuickWash P owerBrush (2080 series) only T urn the machine off and unplug from wall outlet. Remove Clean Water/Solution and Collection T anks. Lie machine down to access the bottom of the machine. With a Phillips head screwdriver , unscrew the Brush Cover and remove.
