If a longer cord is necessary , an approved extension cord may be used. The electrical rating of the extension cor d must be equal to or greater than the rating of the humidifier .
4 LOW W A TER INDICA TOR Light ("EMPTY") - When illuminated, indicates that the water tank needs refilling and/or that the tray and heating element need cleaning.
5 T o monitor the actual humidity level in a room, we r ecommend the use of a humidity meter such as the BIONAIRE ® Digital Humidity and T emperature Monitor BT400 or BT254, which can be purchased by calling our Consumer Service Dept. at 1-800-253-2764.
