3 Set Up Y our X OHM Modem F ollow these instructions to set up your X OHM Modem. 1. Disconnect any existing LAN (E thernet) connections or r outer s from your comput er . F or activation, the computer will need to connect to the Int ernet thr ough the X OHM Modem.
c Insert one end of the supplied Ethernet cable t o y our comput er and the other end int o the y ellow LAN 1 port on the modem. (The L AN 1 LED should illuminat e.) 4. Use the modem setup as sistant to check your X OHM Signal Str ength. It may take a f ew moments f or the signal t o find your modem.
6. Wait f or activation and pro visioning to comple te. ( A ctivation by X OHM is t ypically f ast but may take se veral minut es.) c During pr ovisioning, make s ure that you do no t disconnect your modem.
