Gettin g Started 1 Getting Sta rted Thank you for pu rchasing the D ialer 27, whi ch can be used as a ho tline diale r, a tol l restric tor, or b oth. The Dialer 27 plugs i nto a sta ndard pho ne jack, an d works for all the phon es on th e same ph one lin e.

Once you do this, the light should blink once a second to show that the diale r is instal led corre ctly. If the light st ays ON constan tly, you sh ould swap th e cords plugg ed into the dial e r, so that t he shor t cord go es into jack 1.
Settin g Up the Dia ler 3 Setting Up the Dialer as a Hotline If you do not want to program a ho tline number but do want to res trict access to toll nu mbers, s ee Setting Up the Dialer as a Toll Rest rictor (page 9). Oth erwise pleas e read below ab out programming a h otline number an d trigger.

Password protection is design e d to make it impossible to reprogra m your dialer wit hout fi rst entering t he passw ord.

When the dialer de tects a trigge r conditio n such as a time after going off-hook, or detection of dial t one, the dialer will dial out the hotline number.
