The fol- lowing are pr ecautions that should be observed in order to use the product smoothly . Elsewhere in the Manual, the warning mark is used to bring your attention to these precautions.
PE2300 GB-5 G B 5. For safe operation PRECAUTIONS CONCERNING FUEL • The engine of this product is fueled by "mixed gaso- line" that includes highly combustible fuel. Do not r e- fuel or store fuel containers wher e there is any risk of combustion from incinerators, burners, bonfires, kitchen stoves, electric sparks, welding sparks, etc.
PE2300 GB-6 IMPORT ANT • As a suction hose, be sure to use suction hose(nominal diameter 25mm) or an equivalent ‘water suction hose’ only . • Securely connect hoses with attached hose couplings and clumps.
PE2300 GB-7 G B • Confirm that the suction hose connection is not too loose. Loose connection may result in no suction wa- ter . • In case the discharge hose is clogged or a valve con- nected to the discharge hose is closed, the pump may not suck water .
PE2300 GB-8 IMPORT ANT • If the rope is pulled continuously with the choke closed, the spark plugs may become flooded and the engine may fail to start. If so, you should first remove the spark plugs and dry the electrodes, then r epeat the starting procedure.

Con- tact with hot muffler may r esult in a personal injur y . •D o not modify the pump or dismantle the engine. • When replacing parts please use Zenoah original parts or designated par ts.
PE2300 GB-10 • When replacing plugs, please use designated items. CHAMPION CJ-6Y IMPORT ANT • If too much fuel is absorbed or poor quality oil is used, the spark plug electrodes become dirty , making the engine harder to start.
PE2300 GB-11 G B W ARNING • When draining fuel, please be careful not to spill it. If fuel is spilt, wipe off thor oughly . In addition, please be sure to close the storage container cap tightly .
