Ribbon is used with th ermal transfer labels. For direct the rmal labels, do not load ribbon in the printer.

From the media hanger ( 1 ), feed the media under the dancer assembly ( 2 ), through the media sensor ( 3 ), and under the pri nthead assembly ( 4 ). Slide the media back unt il it touches the inside back wall of t he media sensor .

Slide the ribbon under the printhead assembly , and then wrap it several turns around the ribbon ta ke-up spindle.
