Altering an option or a running programme It is possi ble to chan ge so me options before the pro- gramme carries them out. Before yo u make any change , you must PAUSE the ap- pliance by pre ssing the button 6 . Changing a running progr amme is possible only by re- setting it.
Removing stains Stubborn s tains may no t be removed by just water and detergent. It is therefore advi sa ble to treat them prior to washing. Blood: tre at fresh stains with c old water. For dried stains, soak overnight in wate r with a special detergent the n rub in the soap a nd water.

Problem Possible cau se/Solution The machine do es not start : The door has not been closed . • Close the door firmly. The plug is not properly in serted in the power socket. • Insert the plug into the power socket. There is no power at the socket .
Problem Possible cau se/Solution There is water on the floor: Too much de tergent or unsuita ble deterg ent (creates too much foam) has been used. • Reduce the detergent quanti ty or use another one. Check whether the re are any leaks from on e of the inlet hose fittings.
Problem Possible cau se/Solution Spinning starts late or the ma chine does not spin: The electronic unbala nce detection devic e has cut in becaus e the laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum. The laundry is redistribu ted by reverse rotation of the drum.

Replace the drawer and run the ri nse programme with- out any clot hes in the drum . Cleaning the pump The pump should be inspected if: • the machine does not empty and/or spin; • the machine makes an unu sual noise during draining due to objec ts such as safety pins, co ins etc.
• Unscrew the hose from the mac hine. Keep a rug nearby becau se some water may flow. • Clean the filte r in the valve w ith a stiff brush or with the piece of cloth. 35° 45° • Screw the hos e back to the mach ine and make sure the connection is tight.
Unscrew the three bolts . Slide out th e relevant pla s- tic spa cers. Open the porthole an d re- move the polystyrene block fitted on the door seal. Fill the smaller upper hole and the two large ones with the correspondi ng plastic plu g caps supplied in the bag containing the instruction booklet.
