9 Before using the oven for the first time T o open the oven door , always hold the handle in the centre. Remove all packaging, both inside and outside the oven, before using the oven. Before using for the first time, the oven should be heated up without food.
10 Using the oven The oven is supplied with an exclusive system which produces a natural circulation of air and the constant recycling of steam. This system makes it possible to cook in a steamy environment and keep the dishes soft inside and crusty outside.
11 - Do not place dishes, tins or baking trays directly on the oven base as it becomes very hot and damage will occur .When using this setting, heat comes from both the top and bottom elements. This allows you to cook on a single level and is particularly suitable for dishes which require extra base browning such as quiches and flans.
12 Hints and Tips - The middle shelf position allows for the best heat distribution. T o increase base browning simply lower the shelf position. T o increase top browning, raise the shelf position. - The material and finish of the baking trays and dishes used will affect base browning.

14 Grilling - Timings do not include pre-heating. The empty oven should always be pre-heated for 10 minutes . The temperatures quoted are guidelines. The temperatures may have to be adapted to personal requirements.

The oven should be kept clean at all times. A build-up of fats or other foodstuffs could result in a fire, especially in the grill pan.
