Ceramic glass surface The cooking surface is made of pr oven cer am ic glass. The surface is non- por ous and, in addit ion, insensitive to quick variat ions in t em per ature. Therefore pot s m ay be m oved f r om a hot to a cold zone. When switching on the cooking zones you may hear a short- t er m audible buzzing sound of the radiant element s.
Residual Heat i ndicator Each cooking zone is related to one indicat or . The warning lamp illuminat es when t he sur f ace of the corresponding cooking zone reaches a temperat ur e which could cause bur ns.
Before cleaning, m ake sur e that the hob is cool and disconnected from t he power supply. Never use aggressive or abrasive agent s, such as oven sprays, stain or rust removers, scour ing powder , or sponges with an abrasive eff ect .
If your hob is not f unct ioning correctly please carr y out the following checks bef or e calling out an engineer. Important: If you call out an engineer t o a f ault listed below, or t o r epair a fault caused by incorr ect use or installation, a char ge will be m ade even if the appliance is under guarant ee.
