Installation • During nor mal operation, the condenser and compressor at the back of the appliance heat up considerably . For safety reasons, minimum ventilation must be as sho wn in the instructions. Attention: keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction.
OPERA TION Cleaning the interior Before using the appliance f or the first time, wash the interior and all inter nal accessories with luke- warm water and some neutral soap so as to remov e the typical smell of a brand-new product, then dry thoroughly .
20 Storage of frozen f ood When first star ting-up or after a period out of use, before putting the products in the compartment let the appliance run for at least two hours on the A uto freeze setting, then push again the A uto F reeze button.
21 Freezer compar tment • If food is to be froz en immediately after having installed the appliance or after a prolonged period out of use, push the button and allo w the appliance to run for at least 4 hours bef ore placing the food in it.

23 Refrigerator compar tment For proper opening and closing, it is advisab le to act on both doors simultaneously (as shown in the figure). • Do not place hot food or drinks in the refrigerator; wait until they tr av e cooled to room temperature. • Alwa ys cov er foods , especially those which are strong-smelling or aromatic.

25 TR OUBLESHOO TING If something is not working properly , make sure that all the instructions in this book trav e been follo wed before calling the SER VICECENTRE. The compressore are not working • P ower cut or po wer supply prob lem. • Mains On/Off switch in position “0”.
26 If this appliance featuring magnetic door seals is to replace an older appliance having a spring lock (latch) on the door or lid, be sure to make that spring lock unusable before you discar d the old appliance. This will prevent it from becoming a death-trap for a child.
27 H eight adjustment The height of the appliance is adjustable from 820 to 870 mm to fine up with existing kitchen units . Before installing the appliance betw een unite, adjust the height of the feet and rear wheels. The wheels are factory set for a height of 820 mm.
28 Fitting the door panels • P erf orate the doors as in the dra wing and inser t the two screws in the bag (do not tighten them all the wa y down) f or doors.
29 • Check horizontal alignment of the doors and, if necessary , correct their position by moving them along the slots. • Open the door . Adjust the planarity of the doors by means of the adjustment bushings and the low er square.
30 Building the appliance in • Fit the appliance into the recess. • Rotate the brack et of 180° in order to obtain the right position ( 2). The position (1) is on the delivery . • Fix it to the wali with the appropriate brack et. • The top of the appliance must be kept ciear to allow better air circulation.
31 • If using a 100 mm plinth, fit the complete height compensation strip. Alignment height of 870 mm • If using a 190 to 220 mm plinth, make a shown.
