4 OPERA TION Bef ore using Remov e all securing tapes. W ash inside the appliance with luke warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water).
5 F ast-freezing F or fast-freezing, push the f ast freeze s witch (D). The super control light (C) will then light up . The F ast-freezing function accelerates the freezing of fresh f ood and, at the same time, protects f oodstuffs already stored from undesirable w ar ming.
6 Normal Operating Sounds • Y ou ma y hear f aint gurgling or bubb ling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/e vaporator or to the fix ed freezer shelv es.
7 Mo vable shelves The walls of the refrigerator ha ve runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired . F or better use of space, the front half-shelves can lie ov er the rear ones. 8 Food Storage • T o obtain the best results from your appliance , neither hot f oods nor liquids which may e vaporate , should be placed in the larder compar tment. • K eep the time between buying chilled f ood and placing it in your fridge as shor t as possible .
Defr osting Refrigerator The refrigerator automatically defrosts ev er y time the compressor stops. The water is discharged, via the pipe, into a tra y located at the bac k of the appliance abov e the compressor , where it ev aporates .

17 Push appliance into housing until stop strip (A) touches the kitchen unit. F or a correct alignment make sure that the distance between the appliance and the cabinet is 44 mm. Open the door and push the appliance against the side of the kitchen unit opposite to that of appliance hinges.
18 Place guide (A) on the inside par t of the fur niture door , in the upper and low er position as shown in the figure and mark the position of external holes.
19 If the appliance is fix ed to the side of the kitchen unit, simply slack en the screws in fixing brac kets (E), mov e the brack ets as shown in the figure and re- tighten the screws .
