User manual Dishwasher ZDI 600 QX.
Thank you for selecting our appliance We wish you lots of enjoyment with your new appliance and we hope that you will consider our brand again when purchasing household appliances. Please read this user manual carefully and keep it throughout the product life cycle as a reference document.
Safety information In the interest of your safety and to ensure the correct use, before installing and first using the appliance, read this user manual carefully, in- cluding its hints and warnings.
Installation • Check your dishwasher for any transport damage. Never connect a damaged ma- chine. If your dishwasher is damaged con- tact your supplier. • All packaging must be removed before use. • Any electrical and pl umbing work required to install this appliance must be carried out by a qualified and competent person.

Cancel a delay start or a washing programme i n progress 1. Press simultaneously both Option and De- lay start buttons. 2. The message CONFIRM CANCEL ? is displayed. 3. Press OK button to confirm. 4. The appliance returns to setting mode and the message CHOOSE PROGRAMME is displayed.

• Ensure that the electrical and water connec- tions comply with the installation instructions • Remove all packaging from inside the appli- ance • Set the water softener • Pour 1 litre of wat.
The water softener must be set in both ways: manually, using the water hardness dial and elect ronica lly. Remove any trace of salt. Replace the c ap tightly turning it c lockwise unt i l it stops with a click. IMPORTANT! Immediat e ly start a comp lete programme. IMPORTANT! Water will overfl ow from the contain er as salt is added. IMPORTANT! The salt container will require topping up periodically.
Adjusting the dosage of rinse aid Increase the dose if there are drops of water or lime spots on the dishes after washing. Reduce the dose if there are whitish streaks on the dishes or a bluish film on glassware or knife blades. Open the li d. Set the dosage le vel.
For washing in the dishwasher the following cutlery and dishes are not suitable: are of limited suitability: • Cutlery with wooden , horn, china or mother-of- pearls handle s. • Plastic items th at are not he at resistant. • Older cutlery with glued parts tha t are not tempera- ture resistant.
Load the lowe r basket. Ar- range serving dis hes and large lids aro und the edge of the baske t. The two rows of pron gs on the lower bask et can be easily lowered to all ow you to load po ts, pans and bowls. Load upper ba sket. Light items (plastic bowls etc.
To move to the higher posit ion proceed as follows: 1. Pu ll out the baske t until it stops. 2. Care fully lift both sides upwards un til the mecha- nism is enga ged and the ba sket is stable . To lower the basket to the original p osition proceed as follows: 1.
For programmes with pre- wash add an additional detergent do se in com- partment B . When using deterg ent tablets : place deterge nt tablets in co mpartm ent A . Close the lid . Detergent tablets Detergent tablets from different manufacturers dissolve at different rates.
If the drying results are not satisfactory we suggest that you: 1. Fill up the rinse aid dispenser with rinse aid. 2. Activate the rinse aid dispenser. 3. Set the rinse aid dosage to position 2. • The activation/deactivation of the rinse aid dispenser can only be possible with the "Multitab" function active.
Clean filter s A , B and C thoroughly unde r run ning water. Turn the handle about 1/4 turn anticlo c kwise and re- move filters B and C . Remove filter A from the base of the wa shing com- partment. Replace th e filters and lock by turni ng t he hand le clockwise to th e stop.
2. Leave the door ajar to prevent the forma- tion of any unpleasant smells. 3. Leave the inside of the machine clean. Frost precautions Avoid placing the machine in a location where the temperature is below 0°C. If this is unavoidable, empty the machine, close the ap- pliance door, disconnect the water inlet pipe and empty it.
What to do if… The dishwasher will not start or stops during operation. Certain problems are due to the lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be solved with the help of the indications de- scribed in the chart, without calling out an engineer.
Once these checks have been carried out; close the dishwasher’s door and switch on the appliance. Press the button of the programme that was running before the intervention of the alarm. The programme will continue from the point at which it was interrupted.

Hints for test institutes Testing in accordance with EN 60704 must be carried out with appli ance fully loaded and us- ing the test programme (see "Consumption values").
This dishwasher is designed to be fitted under a kitchen counter or work surface. No further openings for the venting of the dishwasher are required, but only to let the wa- ter fill and drain hose and power supply cable pass through. The dishwasher incorporates adjustable feet to allow the adjustment of the height.
