Indicator lights Rinse aid 1) Comes on when it is ne cessary to fill the rins e aid container. Refe r to 'Use of rinse aid'. 1) When the salt and/or rinse aid containers are empty, the related indicator lights do not co me on while a washing programme operates.

The pressure and temperat ure of t he water, t he var- iations of power supply and t he quantity of dishes can change th ese values. Use of the appliance Refer to the follow ing instru ctions f or each step of pro- cedure: 1. Make a chec k if the water softener le vel is correct for the water hardness in your area.
1 2 Set switch to position 1 or 2. Electronic adjustment The water softener is set at the factory at leve l 5. The appliance must be switche d off. 1. Press and hold the s tart/cancel button. Turn the pro- gramme knob counterc lockwise until the pr ogramme marker agrees with the fi rst washing programme on the control panel.
Use of rinse aid Caution! Only use branded rinse aid for dishwash ers. Do these ste ps to fill the rinse aid dispenser: 1 2 M A X 1 2 3 4 + 3 4 Caution! Do not fill the rinse aid dispenser with other products (e.g. dishwash er cleaning agent, liquid detergent).
1 Arrange servic e dishes and large lids around the edge of the l ower basket. 2 3 The rows of prong s in the lower baske t can be flat to load pots, pans and b owls. 1 2 Use the cutlery grid. If the dimensions of the cutlery prevent use of the cutlery grid, re move it.
Caution! • Do not lift or lower the basket on one side only. • If the basket is in the u pper position, do not put cups on the cup ra cks. Use of detergent Only use detergents (powde r, liquid or tablet) that are applic able for di shwashers. Follow the data on the packaging: • Dosage reco mmended by th e manufactur er.
Activate or deactiv ate th e multitab function before the start of a washing program me. You cannot activate or de activate the multitab f unction when the programme operates. C ancel the washing pro- gramme, then set the program me again. To activate the multita b function: • Press the multitab button.
The washin g programme is cancelled. At this time you can do these steps: 1. Switch off the a ppliance. 2. Set a new washing pr ogramme. Fill the detergent dispense r with detergent before you set a new wa shing programme. Setting and starting a washing programme with delay start 1.

If you connect the water dr ain hose to a trap spigot unde r the sink, remove the pla stic membrane (A ). If you do not remove the membrane, rem aining food can cause a block- age in the drain hose spigot. Caution! Make sure that the wa ter couplings are tight t o prevent wat er leakage.
