2 Introduction Features Introduction Features • This subwoofer system employs Advanced Yamaha Active Servo Technology II which Yamaha has developed for reproducting higher quality super-bass sound.
3 English Connections Caution: Plug the power cables f or the subwoofer and other audio/video components into an A C outlet only after you complete all other connections. Basic connection example Connect the subwoofer cable to the output jack of your A V amplifier , recei ver or TV and to the INPUT jack of the subwoofer .
4 • The system connection ( U.S and CAN AD A model only ) This unit has a system connection jack. Use the supplied system connector cable when connecting a Y AMAHA component equipped with a system connector jack. When connected, the power mode ( ON / OFF ) of this unit can be controlled by the po wer button of the Y AMAHA component.
5 English Using the subwoofer 1 POWER indicator Lights up GREEN when the PO WER switch ( 2 ) is turned ON . When the subwoofer is connected using system connection, light up green by turning on the switch of the connected component. ( The System connection: See page 4 for more details.
