Check that the following accessories are supplied with the product. The following cables (not supplied ) are r equired to build the system described in this document.
2 En Set up the speakers in the room using the following diagram as a refer ence. For information on other speaker systems, refer to “Owner’ s Manual”.
En 3 ■ Connecting speaker cables Speaker cables have two wires. One is for connecting the negative (-) terminals of the u nit and the speaker , and the other is for the positive (+) ter minals. If the wires are colored to pr event confusion, connect the black wire to the negative and the other wire to the positive terminals.
4 En 2 Connect the center speaker ( 3 ) to the CENTER terminal. 3 Connect the surround speaker s ( 4 / 5 ) to the S URR OUND ( / / ) terminals. 4 Connect the subwoof er ( 9 ) to the S UBWOO FER PRE OUT jack. • Use a subwoofer equipped with built-in amplifier .
