1 Introduction This guide provides ste p-by-step in structions to convert X90cw mob ile thin clients from WES2009 to WES7. Caution WES7 firmware r equires X clas s mobile thin clients to have a min imum of 4 GB flash and 2 GB RAM. 2 Inst alling X90cw Mobile Thin Client Flash and RAM This chapte r contains inform ation for u sers of Wyse X90cw mobile thin clients who must install new flash and RAM. If you are installi ng firmware only , you can skip this chapter and proceed to"Installing WES7 Firmware.

6 Chapter 2 12. Install the new RAM module in the revers e order of removing the original RAM modu le. Carefully press down on the RA M module until its retaining clip s lock it into place. 13. Replace the RAM cover in the reverse order as described in step s 10 and 9.
