Ho wever , to ensur e safe use of this product, it is important that you follow the instructions me ntio ned in this manual and marked o n the product.

Introduction 10 Re mote c ontrol effecti ve range Infra Red (IR) remote c ontrol sensors are located on the front and the back of the pr ojector . The remote contro l must be held at an angle within 30 degrees of the project or’ s IR remote control sensors to function correctly .

Positioning your projector 13 The recommended focus range is from 1. 5 ~ 8 meters (6 ~ 32 feet). There is 3% ~ 5% toleran ce among these numbers due to opt ical component variations.
Connection 14 Connec tion When connecting a signa l source to the projector , be sure to: 1. T urn all of the equipme nt off befor e making an y c onnections. 2. U se the corr ect signal cables for eac h sourc e. 3. Ensure that the cabl es are firmly inserted.
Connection 15 Connecting equipment to the Component V ideo input The projector is cap able of displayin g various High Definit ion TV display modes . Some of these sourc es are: Most of these sourc es will pro vide an analog component video output, either a standard V GA (D-sub) output, or a YP b P r (default ) format.
Connection 16 If the selected video image is not displayed af ter the projector is turned on and the correct video source has been selected, check that the video source is turned on and operating correctly . Also check that the signal cables have been connect ed correctly .

T u rn on the wall so cket switch (where fitted). T urn on the power point (if switched). Check th at the Pow e r i n d i c a to r on the projector lights orange after power has bee n applied.
Operat ion 18 2. When t he function is activated for the first time, a prompt will di splay on the screen. U se the 5 or 6 butt ons to select a number for each d igit of the passwor d. Use the 3 or 4 buttons to move between the digits of the password.
Operation 19 A djusting the image Ad justing the height The projector is equipp ed with 1 quick-release adjuster foot and 2 rear adjuster feet. Th ese adjusters can be used to change the image he ight and pr ojection angle. T o adjust the projector , 1.
Operat ion 20 Correcting k eystone K eyston ing refers to the situation wher e the project ed image is noticeab ly wider at either the top or bottom. It occurs when the projector is not p erpendicula r to the screen. T o correc t this, you can perform the following steps.
Operation 21 S w itc hing input signals The project or can be connect ed to mul tiple devices at the same time. T o sequent ially select input sources, press the Sourc e button on the p rojector c ontrol panel o r the remote control. The selected sour ce wi ll be display ed at the bottom rig ht of the screen for 3 seconds.

Operat ion 26 3. Setting menu FUNCTION DESCRIPTION Mute Vo l u m e Adjusts the v olume level. OSD Time Sets the length of time the OSD will remain active aft er your la st button pres s. The range is from 5 to 60 sec onds. Reset R eturns all settings t o the factory preset va lues.
Operation 27 4. A dvance me nu FUNCTION DESCRIPTION Mirror The projector can be installed on a ceil ing or b ehind a screen, or w ith one or more mirrors. C ontact your dealer for the ceiling mount brac ket (optional acc essor y) if y ou need to install the projector on y our ceiling.

Maintenance 29 M aintenanc e Care of the projector Y our proje ctor needs l ittle maint enance. The only thing you need to do on a regular bas is is to keep the lens clean. Nev er remo ve an y parts of the pr ojector ex ce pt the lamp . Contact y our dealer if other parts need replaci ng.
Maintenance 30 Lamp information W arning message When the Lamp indicator lights up r ed or a message appears suggesting it is time t o replac e the lamp , please install a new lamp . An old la mp ma y cause a malf unction in the pr ojector and in some inst ances the lamp ma y br eak.
Maintenance 31 This lamp contains mercury . Consul t your local hazardous waste regulations to dispose of this lamp in a proper manner . Step 1. T urn the power off and disconnect the projector f rom the wall socket.

Maintenance 33 -- The P ower indicat or light is flashing during pow ering up. -- The projector is un der normal operat ion. Lamp events -- It is warning y ou that lamp usage has ex ceeded 2000 / 3000 (Economic mode ) hours. Replace the projec tion lamp w ith a new one immediat ely .
