2 INST ALLA TION Thermostat installation and all components of the control system shall conform to Class II circuits per the NEC code. WA RNING ! Remove Old Thermostat A standard heat/cool thermostat consists of three basic par ts: 1) The cov er , which may be either a snap-on or hinge type .

4 INST ALLER/CONFIGURA TION MENU With thermostat in Heat, Cool or Auto , in nor mal operation, press the Menu button f or at least 5 seconds. The displa y will show item #1 in the table belo w . Press Menu to advance to the ne xt menu, Press or to change an item option.
5 INST ALLER/CONFIGURA TION MENU 1) This control can be configured f or : MS 2 – Multi-Stage System (no heat pump) HP 1 – Heat Pump with one stage of compressor SS 1 – Single Stage System 2) GAS or Electric (ELE) fan operation. If the heating sys- tem requires the thermostat to energize the fan, select ELE.
6 OPERA TING Y OUR THERMOST A T Choose the Fan Setting (A uto or On) Set the F AN Switch to A uto or On. F an Auto is the most commonly selected setting and runs the f an only when the heating or cooling system is on. F an On r uns the f an continuously f or increased air circulation or to allow additional air cleaning.
7 PR OGRAMMING (For Programmab le Model Only) The 1F85-0422 thermostats are programmed with the energy saving settings sho wn in the table belo w f or all days of the week. If this program suits y our needs, simply set the thermo- stat clock and press the R UN SCHED button.
8 TR OUBLESHOO TING Reset Operation Note: When thermostat is reset, installer configuration menu settings and programming will reset to f actor y settings.

Si este programa es adecuado para sus necesidades , simplemente ajuste el reloj del termostato y presione el botón R UN SCHED .
6 CÓMO USAR EL TERMOST A T O Elija la configuración del ventilador (A uto u On) Coloque el interruptor F AN en Auto (automático) u On (activ ado). F an Auto es la configuración más comúnmente seleccionada y hace funcionar el ventilador únicamente cuando el sistema de calef acción o enfriamiento está encendido.
