6 Attaching T h e Nozzle • Remove three wing nuts fro m the front of the chip per shre dder vac uum. • Place nozzle in pos ition ov er the three s tuds on uni t and secur e with wing nuts just rem oved.
7 Throttle Control Lever (Not Shown) The throt tle con trol leve r is loca ted on the eng ine. It control s the engine ’ s speed an d stops the eng ine. See separat e engine manual pack ed with un it for detail s. Starter Han dle (Not Shown) The starter handle is located on the engine.

Move engi ne thrott le contro l leve r to FAST or START p osition . • Place one foot on the left rear wheel to prev ent the unit from ski dding whil e starting .
9 SECTION 5: ADJUSTING YOUR CHIPPER SHREDDER VACUUM WARNING: Do not at any time ma ke any adjustments without fir st stopping engine, disconnecting spark plug wire, and grounding it aga inst the engine. Front Caster Wheels This ch ipper sh redde r vacuum is eq uipped with front cast er wheels.
10 SECTION 6: MAINTAINING YOUR CHIPPER SHREDDER VACUUM WARNING: Before performing any mainte- nance or repairs, stop t he engine, wait until the m achine comes to a comple te stop, disconnect the spark plug wire and ground agains t the engine t o prevent unin- tended starting.

13 • Secure the impell er assembl y to the cranks haft using the he x bolt, l ock washe r, and flat w asher previo usly rem oved. Torqu e the bolt to 550 in. lbs. to 700 in. lbs . • Place the housing bl ades ag ainst the inner housing. See Figur e 16.
