7 Figure 5 A TT ACHING THE CLUTC H CABLE Attach the c lutch cable to the handle as foll ows (be careful no t to kink the cable). 1. Rou te the clutch c able to the left side of the till er, and under neath th e handle. Push the "Z" end of the cable in to the ho le in t he clut ch control bail.

9 DEPTH ST AKE The depth ba r controls the till ing depth. Refer to SECTION 8: HOW TO USE Y OUR TILLER on page 9. HANDLE ADJUSTMENT (See Figure 8) The handl e may be adjuste d to be raised or lowered in line with th e tiller. To a djust the handle positio n loosen the handle height adjus tment cran k a few turns.

11 To adjust th e tension on the belt, refer to clu tch adjustm ent inform ation in “Chec king the Clu tch Adjustm ent” se ction of the Asse mbly Instruc tions. After be lt tensio n has bee n adju sted, if th e belt is excessi vely stretc hed, you m ay need to adjust th e idle r pul le y r o d.
12 BEL T REPLACEMENT CAUTION: Do not use an off-the-shelf belt. Your til ler has be en enginee red with a bel t made of specia l material (Kevlar Tens ile) fo r longer life and better p erformance . It shoul d not be r eplaced wi th an off-the- shelf belt.
13 SECTION 12: OFF-SEASON STORAGE If the till er will not be used for a per iod long er than 30 days , the followi ng steps sh ould be tak en to prepare th e tiller for storag e. 1. Cle an the exter ior of engine and the entir e tiller thorough ly. Lubric ate the tiller as desc ribed in the lu brication i nstruct ions.
