3 RANGE SAFETY The Anti -Tip Br ac k et The range will not tip during normal use. How ever , the range c an tip if you apply t oo much force or weight to the open door wit hout t he anti-tip bracket fas tened down p r operly . You can be killed or seriously injured if you don't immediately follow instructions.

5 ■ Keep Oven V ent Ducts Unobstructed. ■ Placement of Oven Racks – Always place oven racks in desired location while oven is cool. If rack must be moved while oven is hot, do not let potholder contact hot heating element in oven.

7 COOKTOP USE Cooktop Controls The control knobs can be set any wher e between HI and LO. Push in and turn to s etting. On some mode ls, the surface cooking area locator shows w hich element is tur ned on. Use the follow ing chart as a guide when setting heat leve ls.
8 Hot Surface Indicator Light (under ceramic glass) The hot surface indic ator light will glow as long as any su rf ace cooking area is too hot to touch , even aft er the surface cooking area(s) is tur ned of f. Coil Elem ents and Bur ner B o wls (on some models) Coil elements should be level for optimal cooking r esults.

10 Control Loc k The Control Loc k shut s down the control pan el pads to prevent unintended use of the oven. When the co ntr ol is l ock ed, only the CLOC K and TI MER pads w ill function. T o Lock/Unlock Contr ol: Before locking, make sure the oven and Timer are off.
11 P ositioning Rac ks and Bak ew a r e IMPORT AN T : Never place food or ba kewar e directly on the oven door or bottom. Permanent d amage will occur to the porcelain finish. RACK S Position racks before tur n ing the oven on. Do not m ove racks with ba keware on them.

15 General Cl eaning IMPORT AN T : Before cleaning, make sure all controls are off and the oven and cookt op are cool. Always follow label i nstructions on cle aning p r oduc ts. Soap, wat er and a soft cloth or sponge are su ggested first un l ess otherwise noted.

17 To R e m o v e : 1. Open the oven door . Insert door r emoval pins, included wi th your ran ge, into b oth hing e hangers. Do n ot r emove the pins while the door is removed from the range. 2. Carefully close the door until it rests against the door removal pins.
