5 Unpacking IMPORT ANT : ■ Do not grasp control panel to move compactor . ■ Make sure t he compactor is near the inst allation location. 1. Remove compactor from s hipping carton. Remove all pro tective packaging materials such as tape and shi pping pads.
6 Install the Compactor IMPORT ANT : Do not grasp control panel to move compactor . 1. Move the compactor to its final position. 2. Grasp sides of compactor drawer and place bottom of drawer into tracks. Lift at the handle so drawer will go over draw er stops.
7 T o remove the Key-Knob 1. T ur n the Ke y-Kn ob to the LO CK /OFF po sition . 2. Remove the Key-Knob and store i t out of childr en ’ s r each. Remo ving a Filled Bag When the trash is compacted to the top of t he drawer , remove the bag. If the bag is too heavy , compact less trash before emptying it in the future.
8 3. Hold the lever -action lock down and tilt the side of the draw er out until the lock clears the drawer front . NOTE: If desir ed, the draw er side can be re moved by tilting it up, then li ftin g it ou t. 4. W ash the interior of the drawer with a clean sponge or soft cloth and a mild deter gent in warm water .

12 Desempaque IMPORT ANTE: ■ Para mover el compactador no lo sujet e por la consola. ■ Aseg ú rese de que el compactador es t é cer ca del lugar para la instalaci ó n. 1. Saque el compactador de su cart ó n de embalaje. Saque todos los materiales protector es de embalaje com o la cinta adhesiva y los relle no s d e e mba laj e.
13 Instalaci ó n del compactador IMPORT ANTE: Para mover el compactador no lo sujete por el panel de control. 1. Mueva el compactador cer ca de su ubicaci ó n final. 2. Sujete los lados del caj ó n del compactador y coloque el fondo del caj ó n en los rieles.
14 Para quitar la per illa llave 1. Gire la Perilla llave hacia l a posici ó n LOCK/O FF (T raba do/ Apagado). 2. Retire la perilla llav e y gu á rdela fuera del alcance de los ni ñ os. Eliminaci ó n de bolsas llenas Una vez que la basura haya sido compactada has ta la parte superior del caj ó n, saque la bolsa.
15 3. Sostenga hacia abajo la t raba de palanca e incline el co stado del caj ó n hacia afuera hasta que la traba li bere el fr ente del caj ó n. NOT A : Si lo desea, puede quitar el lado del caj ó n in clin á ndolo y lue go l eva nt á ndolo hacia afuera.
