14 ATTACHING THE MONITOR ARMS (MA) Atta ch each Monito r Arm (MA) to the back of your televi sion as shown. Make sure that each W asher (R for M4 or M5 screws, or S for M6 or M8 screws) is placed between the Screw and the Monitor Arm. Don’t place the W ashers between the Arms and the television.
15 Use spacers if Monitor Arms (MA) do not fit firmly against the back of the television, such as when the back of the television is curved, contains larger recessed mounting holes, or some other obstruction is in the way . Spacers also provide extra room for cables.

18 ATTACHING THE EXTENSION Once you hav e sele cted the corre ct Extens ion (AN, AO, AP , AQ) to use, atta ch each one to the Moni tor Arms (MA) usin g an Exten sion Atta chmen t Screw (AR).

21 IT DETERMINE HEIGHT LOCATION OF TELEVISION Measure the distance from the bracket holes to the top and bottom of the TV to determine the center mounting p osition. Measure from the floor up, and make small marks on the wall to help you determine the desired TV height.
DRILL PILOT HOLES Follow directions on the Instal lation T emplate (IT) carefully . For installations into one stud: drill two holes into the round holes “E”, and “F” in the center of the T emplate.

INSTALLING THE WALL PLATE (WP) INTO ONE STUD After you have prepared the holes for mounting the Wall Plate (WP), place the W all Plate over the holes and screw i n the Lag Bolts (T) with W ashers (CW) about half way . DRILL PILOT HOLES Follow directions on the Installation T emplate (IT) carefully . Carefully drill four holes using a 5/16" (or 8mm) masonry drill bit in the “A”, “B”, “C”, and “D” locations noted on the Installation T emplate. Each hole should be at least 3" (76mm) deep.

WP EC 31 INSTALL THE DECORATIVE END COVERS (EC) Line up the two peg inserts on the back of each End Cover (EC) with the two holes at the ends of the W all Plate (WP), and press into place. Each End Cover is marked with a "L" (for Left side) or "R" (for Right side).
UNDERSTANDING THE LOCKING MECHANISM The Lock ing Mech anism loc ks the Monit or Arms (MA ) onto the W all Pla te (WP) to prev ent telev ision remo val. Bef ore attempt ing to attach the televi sion with the Monit or Arms to the Wa ll Plat e, make sure that the Lockin g Mechan ism is in the unlo cked posit ion.

34 MOUNT THE TELEVISION W ith the help of an assist ant, lift the television and guide the Monitor Arms (MA) onto the W all Plate (WP) as shown.
