Install properly.. . 1. Allow W’ (.2 cm) space on each side and at top for ease of installation. 2. If the refrigerator is to be in a corner, keep 1% inches (3.1 cm] between the wall and the side of the refrigerator so there is room to open the doors wider.

Adjusting meat pan temperature. . . Removing freezer bin.. . Cold air flows against the meat pan through an opening between the freezer and the refrigerator. This helps keep the meat pan colder than the rest of the refrigerator. Set the control to let mote or less cold air through.
Ice cube trays.. . To remove Ice: l Hold tray at both ends. l Slightly twist. If cubes are not used, they may shrink. The moving cold air starts a slow evaporation. The longer cubes are stored, the smaller they get. Optional automatic ice maker. On 8 Slgnal to Stop Ice lower Slgnal Arm to Start It.
Sounds you may hear.. . Your new refrigerator may make sounds that your dd one didn’t. Because the sounds are new to you, you might be concerned about them. Don’t be. Most of the new sounds are normal. Hard surfaces like the floor. walls and cabinets can make the sounds seem louder.

Food storage guide STORING FRESH FOOD There is a right way to package and store refrig- erated or frozen foods. To keep foods fresher, longer, take the time to study these recommended steps. Leaty Vegetables.. Remove store wrapping. Tram or tear off bruised and discolored areas.
FREEZING & STORING FROZEN FOODS The freezer section IS desrgned for storage of com- mercrally frozen foods and for freezrng foods at home Packaging - The secret of successful freezing IS In the packagrng. The wrap you use must be air, morsture and vapor proof.
Freezlng Vegetables - Freeze only fresh high- quality Vegetables picked when barely mature. For best results, freeze no more than 2 to 3 hours after picking. Wash in cold water, sort and cut into appropriate sizes. Blanch or scald. Pack in recom- mended container and freeze.
IMPORTANT: Do not expect your freezer to quick-freeze any large quantlty of food. Put no more un- frozen food Into the freezer than will freeze wlthln 24 hours. (No more than 2 to 3 pounds of fresh meat or 3 to 4 pounds ot vegetables per cubic foot of freezer space.
Short vacations. . . No need to shut off the refrigerator if You will be away for less than four weeks. Use up perishables; freeze other items. If your refrigerator is equipped with an automatic ice maker, 1) turn it off, 2) shut off the water supply to the ice maker.
