11. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked. 12. A Heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS This Upright Heater is not user serviceable. There are no user serviceable parts inside the unit. Servicing by our Authorized Service Center is required to avoid damage to internal components.
Frost Watch If your Heater is plugged in and in operation and set at the lowest setting (the Heater/Fan Dial set to LOW and the Thermostat Dial set to MIN) the Heater will remain OFF unless the temperature drops below 41 º F. At 41 º F the Heater will automatically turn ON and will cycle ON and OFF to keep the area at a constant temperature.
WARNING: The red Safety Light will serve as a visual alarm to alert you that the thermal cut-off is broken. At this time, the Heater will turn itself OFF. If both the red and the amber Lights are illuminated, immediately turn the Heater/Fan Dial to the OFF position, turn the Thermostat Dial to MIN and unplug the cord from the electrical outlet.
