6 UL -ES-Parkwa y-WH10 6 Unpack and inspect fan carefully to be certain all conten ts are included. T urn off power at fuse box to avoid possible elec trical shock.
7 UL -ES-Parkwa y-WH10 Remove the screws and star washers from the two mating holes (1) on the canopy . Loosen (do not remov e) the screws in the mating slots (2) on the canopy . 12 UL -ES-Parkwa y-WH10 Feed motor lead wires through downrod/canopy assembly and inser t downrod into downrod yok e. Make sure to align hole in downrod with the hole in downrod yoke. Install yoke cross pin (1) through yok e and downrod . Inser t clamp pin (2) into cross pin until it snaps into place.

16 UL -ES-Parkwa y-WH10 Check the motor for plastic shipping stabilizer tabs (1), and remove them if they are present. Attach blade assembly to motor using the noise -dampening motor gaskets (2) and motor screws provided. Tighten screws securely . NOTE: Some models do not utilize motor gaskets , washers , or stabilizer tabs.
17 UL -ES-Parkwa y-WH10 Attach the switch housing cap using three small screws provided. Conecte la tapa del alojamiento del interrupt or con los tres tornillos pequeños incluidos. Connect the wire plugs from the motor (1) to the wire plugs from the light kit (2), white to white, and black to black.
18 UL -ES-Parkwa y-WH10 23 6 1 2 3 4 5 Install glass (1) onto light kit and tighten rubber/ metal washer (2) (rubber side facing the glass), and nut (3) onto bottom of glass. Make sure ceiling fan pull chain is threaded through the side hole in the bottom of the glass.
19 UL -ES-Parkwa y-WH10 24 Assemble decorative fob and extension chains from har dware bag to fan pull chains by inser ting end of chain into chain coupling.
20 UL -ES-Parkwa y-WH10 Operation T urn on the power and check operation of fan. T he pull chain controls the fan speeds as follows: 1 pull - high; 2 pulls - medium; 3 pulls - low; 4 pulls - off. Speed settings for warm or cool wea ther depend on factors such as room size, ceiling height, number of fans and so on.
