4 Operating the G700 Keyboar d Opening the K eyboar d 1. Open the keyboard b y pressing the button. 2. Raise the lid and stand so that they are fully extended. 3. Flip up the keyboard connector stand to its full upright position. 4. Pull out the left and right section of the keyboard until the middle section pops up.
5 Operating the G700 Keyboar d (continued) Closing the K eyboar d 1. Gently pull the left and then the right section of the keyboard apart. 2. Push the left and right section of the keyboard forward the center of the keyboard. T he middle section will automatically mov e down and make room for the left and right sections.
6 Operating the G700 Keyboar d (continued) On-K e yboar d Charger T he G700 keyboard is designed with an electronic cir cuit that accepts A C power for y our PD A w hile y ou use the keyboard. T he po wer receptacle located on the side of the keyboard allows y ou to use the A C adapter included with y our PD A.

10 Configuring the K e yboar d Y ou can adjust v arious keyboard settings to your personal preference. Customizing Keyboar d Settings T ap on the “Enable Clic k Sound” box to hear a clic k w hile typing.

T apping further right on the scale specifies a faster repeat rate. T ap in the “T est string here” field to enter c haracters from the keyboard.
