It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all users of the elliptical exerciser are adequately informed of all precautions.
4 BEFORE YOU BEGIN Thank you for selecting the WESLO ® MOMENTUM 7 25 elliptical exerciser . The MOMENTUM 725 elliptical exerciser is designed to make your workouts at home more effective and enjoyable. For your benefit, read this manual carefully before you use the elliptical exerciser .
5 ASSEMBL Y T o hire an authorized service technician to assemble the elliptical exerciser , call 1-800-445-2480. Assembly requires two persons. Place all parts of the elliptical exerciser in a cleared area and remove the packing materials. Do not dispose of the packing materials until assembly is completed.
6 4. The Console (22) requires two 1.5V “AA” batter- ies (not included). Remove the battery cover from the Console and insert two batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that the batteries are oriented as shown by the dia- gram inside the battery compartment.
7 5. Identify the Right Pedal (63), which has an “R” molded into its bottom surface. Attach the Right Pedal (63) to the Right Pedal T ube (64) with two M8 x 1 9/16" Hex Bolts (41), two M8 W ashers (52), and two M8 Nylon Locknuts (57). Attach the Left Pedal (not shown) to the Left Pedal T ube (not shown) in the same way .
8 HOW T O USE THE ELLIPTICAL EXERCISER HOW TO MOVE THE ELLIPTICAL EXERCISER T o move the elliptical exerciser , stand in front of it, p lace one foot against one of the wheels, and firmly hold the upper end of the upright. Pull the upright for- ward until you can move the elliptical exerciser on the wheels.
9 HOW TO ADJUST THE RESIST ANCE A s you exercise, you can adjust the resistance o f the pedals with the resistance control on the upright. T o increase the resistance, turn the con- trol clockwise; to decrease the resistance, turn the control counter- clockwise.
10 4. Measure your heart rate, if desired. I f there are sheets of c lear plastic on the metal contacts of the handgrip pulse sensor , peel off the plastic. Place your hands on the handgrip pulse sensor , with your palms on the contacts. A void moving your hands.
