1 Bur ner T ube Replacement Instructions 55355 07/31/02 W ARNING: BEFORE ST ARTING, TURN THE GAS OFF A T THE GAS SUPPL Y , DISCONNECT THE GAS SUPPL Y AND CAREFULL Y READ THESE INSTR UCTIONS BEFORE REPLACING THE MAIN BURNERS. STEP 2 Remove the Contr ol P anel and burner contr ol knobs Be sure gas is turned off at source .
2 5) Slide the burner assembly out from under the guide screw and w asher(1) in the cor ners of the cooking bo x. Do not loosen screws. The scre ws are only guides. (1) 6) Lift and twist the burner assembly slightly , to separate the Crossov er ® tube(1) from the burners.
3 STEP 5 Reinstall the Manifold and V alve Assembly and the Control P anel. F ollow steps 1 through 3 in re verse order . Check f or gas leaks. D ANGER Do not use an open flame to chec k for gas leaks. Be sure there are no sparks or open flames in the area while you c heck f or leaks.
