GETTING STARTED Setting Up Y our VT 91 12 1. Choose an area near an electrical outlet and a telephone wall jack. 2. Connect the telephone line cord. Insert one end of the telephone line cord into the jack at the rear of the base unit. Plug the other end into a telephone wall jack.
SETTING HANDSET VOLUME Set the Handset volume switch to High, Mid or Low , depending on your preference. The V olume switch is located on the left-hand edge of the handset (with the keypad facing towards you, and the antenna pointing up).
17 IN CASE OF DIFFICULTY * Make sure the telephone line cord is plugged firmly into the base unit and the telephone jack. Make sure the power cord is plugged in. * Y ou may be too far from the base unit. * Y ou may have too many extension phones on your telephone line to allow all of them to ring.
