6 Prep a re Y our Camera for use Inst all batteri es Y our camera requires three A AA batteries (alkaline batteries rec ommended ). Please refer to the following installation ins tructions: 1. Open the bat tery comp artmen t on the side of the ca mera.
7 W ARN ING: Unless you are usi ng an SD memory card , o pening the battery compar tment and removing the ba tt ery will era s e the test photo s currently stored in the ca mera. Dow nload your photos as o ften as possible . Photos will be lost w hen the ca mera switch es -of f or w hen the batterie s run low .
8 Locate the SD me mory card slot o n the botto m of the ca m er a and in sert an SD me mory card a s abov e. Y ou will f eel and hear a “ Click ” sound. W hen the ic on appears on the LCD screen this indicates that your SD card is inst alled corre ctly .
9 S t arting Y our Digit a l Camera Power on Press t he Pow er button once t o turn on your camera. The LCD will light up and the camera will emit a “ beep ” to indicate that your camer a is turned on and ready for use. Power off Press t he Pow er button once to tu rn off yo ur c a mera.

13 Camera mode Set the m ode switch to Camera Mod e – th e ic on will app ear on the top right corner of the LCD screen. T a king Photos 1. Hold the camera steady and comp ose your objec t as appears in the LC D screen. 2. Press the Shutter button and wait a moment for the photo to be take n and saved to memory .

15 Note: A “ No P ow er ” message will appear on the LCD screen, if you select the flash function when the battery pow er is in suf ficient. T o continue using the ca mera w ith the flash, please inst all new batteries.
16 2. Fro m the “This Image” or “This Video ” message tha t appears, p re ss Left/Right button to select “ Y es ” . 3. P re ss the Menu /OK button to conf irm and for the selected i mage to be deleted. At step 2, if you do not wish t o delete the photo select “ No ” by p ressing t he Up /Down button, then press the Menu /OK button.

19 Note: The image s ize icon w ill ap pea r on the right side o f the LCD screen . Anti-Shake Y our Digital Camera has a func tion that prev ents photo s coming out blur ry as a result of trembling or shaking w hen taking the photo . Because of thi s fun ction, you ar e not required to use a tripod to shoot steady photos.
20 1. Press the Me nu/OK button . 2. Press the Right /Left button until yo u select the Setup m enu . Exposure This setting allow s you to con trol the brigh tness of your images. 1. Press the Up/Do wn button to select the Ex posure option in the Setu p menu.
21 4. Press the Me nu/OK button to confi rm, save your se tting and ex it. ISO This setting allows you to sele ct the ISO setting that you w ant as per y our curren t c on dition s. 1. Press Up/Dow n button to select th e ISO option in the Setup menu.
22 3. Press the Up/Do wn bu tton to choo se the best op t ion – Auto / Dayli ght / Cloudy / Tungsten / Fluoresce nt 4. Press the Me nu/OK button to confir m and exit. Sharpness This setting allow s you t o adjust the sharpnes s of your images, making edge s more or less di stinct.
23 Quality The quality setting s determine the number of photos and the amoun t of memory require d f or ea ch photo. The better the quality , the more me mory each photo will use. The quality w ill also af fect the maxi mum size you can pr int your photo ef fectively .

37 Print Y ou can print photos dire ctly fro m the c a mera using the Pictbr idge technology on yo ur printer . 1. Select a pho to you wa nt to print. 2. Press the Me nu/OK button . 3. Press the Lef t/ Righ t button to sele ct t he Pictbridge menu option.
38 11 . Select “ OK ” and press the Menu /OK button to start printing. 10 . Wa it for the printer to process your request. After a mo ment the photo is printed. Note: Printing many photo s will take more time. Please be patient and w ait for all the photos to print.
