4 5 1 . Unpacking and Assembly CA UTION: Vibiemme Domobar espresso mac hines are quite heavy . The shipping weight is around 84 pounds! We recommend get ting assistance whenever the mac hine has to be moved or relocated. Open the box and carefully remo ve the mac hine.
6 7 T o replace the Cup Warmer T ray , hold it at a sloping angle with the front edge lo wer then the rear . Lo wer the front edge in place, and then low er the back edge until it hooks the bac k edge of the machine. Ret urn the shipping materials, pac king , plastic bags, padding, and boxes to their original locations and sav e them.
8 9 2. W ater All cof fee be verages start with t wo things- cof f ee and water . Because the majority of espresso is water , it should come as no surprise that quality water is important to the t aste of the espresso. A dditionally , using the wrong water can e ventually cause problems f or your mac hine and even cause part f ailures.
10 11 3.1 . Using the W ater Reserv oir The Vibiemme Domobar super is set b y the manufacturer to dra w water from the water reservoir . T o access the reser voir , use the t wo handles to lif t the Cup Warming T ray of f the machine and place the cov er aside.
12 13 3.4. Dir ect-Connect to Existing Dr ain Syst em T o connect the Vibiemme Domobar super to your e xisting drain system, take the remov able drip tray cov er off f or approx. half of its length, then: • Remo ve the cap (right side within the drip tray).
14 15 4.2. Star t Up: filling the boiler Within a second or t wo af ter turning the P ower switc h to position I you should hear the pump engage. The sound of the pump indicates that the electronic w ater level control has begun to fill the boiler .
16 17 4.5. Star t up: br ew pr essure g auge The Brew gauge on the right side of the display panel (scale 0 to 16 bar) displays the pressure in the brewing path during an espresso pull. This giv es a general indication as to what is happening during the brewing cy cle.
18 19 IMPORT ANT : Re-pr iming the DB pump In the ev ent of air getting dra wn into the plumbing system (example: tip of silicone hose e xposed to air) please do the follo wing: • Fill reser voir . • T urn both boilers on and heat to operating temperature.

22 23 8. T r oubleshooting 8.1 . The machine is not wor king • Be sure it is plugged in and the circuit is w orking . T r y another outlet if in doubt. • Be sure the P ow er switchs is t urn on position I. 8.2. No w ater can be pumped • Chec k the Low Water Lev el Warning Light to see if the Water Reservoir needs to be refilled.

It is suggested that the first pull af ter bac kflushing be discarded just in case a bit of cleaner is left that could taint the cof fee. CA UTION: The cleaning products meant f or backflushing must NEVER be used in the w ater reser voir .
