4 5 1 . Unpac king and Assembly CA UTION: The V ibiemme Domobar espresso mac hines are quite heavy . The shipping w eight is around 70 pounds! W e recommend get ting assistance whenever the machine has to be moved or relocated. Open the box and carefully remo ve the mac hine.
6 7 Replace the bac k panel when the plug has been retrie ved. T o replace the Cup Warmer T ray , hold it at a sloping angle with the front edge low er then the rear . Lo wer the front edge in place, then low er the bac k edge until it hooks the bac k edge of the mac hine.
8 9 2. W ater All cof f ee beverages start with two things- cof f ee and water . B ecause the majority of espresso is water , it should come as no surprise that quality water is important to the t aste of the espresso. A dditionally , using the wrong water can e vent ually cause problems for your mac hine and e ven cause part failures.
10 11 4. Start up Locate the P ortafilter you wish to use. Y our mac hine came with two- a smaller , single portafilter (shownhere on the right) as w ell as the larger , double portafilter (lef t). The single is meant to create about one ounce of espresso at a time, and the double creates about two ounces- a double.

It is suggested that the first pull af ter bac kflushing be discarded just in case a bit of cleaner is lef t that could taint the coff ee. CA UTION: The cleaning products meant f or backflushing must NEVER be used in the W ater Reservoir .
26 27 9.6. Hot W at er W and and St eam W and The tip of the Hot Water Wand is remo vable and can be cleaned af ter removing it from the mac hine. It simply unscrews, but do not use pliers or other similar tool that ma y mar the finish. A small strap wrenc h is pref erable if a tool is needed.
