5 1. Remov e all pieces from box. Locate 2 screws and tightening tool. 2. Detach red plastic pieces and store them in the ev ent you need to retur n the lamp . 3. Impor tant: T o av oid scratching the metal shaft, do not use a sharp object to cut the plastic cov ering.

8 BULB REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS Remov al 1. Unplug lamp from power source . 2. T o access to the bulb , remove g r id diffuser by depressing the tab and lifting it out. (See page 7) 3. Fir mly hold bulb base (B) and pull bulb (C) from the soc ket (A) in an outward motion.
9 TROUBLESHOOTING Before Requesting Service on Y our V erilux ® Lamp, Please Read the Following: • Make sure all po wer connectors, cords , and plugs are inser ted fully and securely . • Be sure the bulb is securely seated into the soc ket. (See page 8) • Make sure there is po wer to the wall outlet or tr y another outlet.
10 CARE & CLEANING Y our lamp is made from high quality materials that will last for man y years with minim um care. Y ou ma y want to periodically clean the lamp , using a mild non-abrasiv e cleaner and soft cloth. When cleaning, mak e sure you ha ve turned off and unplugged the unit, and allowed suffi cient time f or the unit to cool.
