[28] GETTING START ED www.uniden.com Setting CIDCW (Cal ler ID on Call W aiting) CIDCW sets the Caller ID on Cal l W aiting (CIDCW) displays the name and n umber of an incoming call whi le you are on the line . Call W aiting Deluxe (CWDX) allows you to handle call wa iting calls in seven differe nt wa ys.
GETTING S TARTED [ 29] www.uniden.com Setting the Dial Mode Dial Mod e sets the dial mode to tone or pulse. Most phone systems use tone dialin g; the def ault setting is tone dialin g. Set the dialin g mod e to match the dialing system us ed by yo ur local phone service .

[32] BASICS www.uniden.com Call W aiting If you have Call Wa iting servi ce and a call waitin g tone sounds while yo u are on a call, press talk/flash on the handset or flash on the base to accep t the waiting call. Ther e is a short pause , and th en you will hear th e new caller .
