2 Getting to Know the T rav el Kit Reading the Display Icons Icon Name What it means Signal strength Shows the rela tive strength of the Bluet ooth signal (appears separately for each c onnection). T ext to speech T ext to speech mode is on. Bluetooth The tra vel kit is curren tly paired to a Bluetooth devic e.
3 Icon Name What it means Mute The micr ophone is muted. Battery status Shows the rela tive strength of the ba ttery . V olume level Shows the current v olume level . Using the Buttons Button Press to Press & hold (2 seconds) to Press & hold (4 seconds) t o Multi- function In standby: redial the last number .
4 Setting Up Y our T ra v el Kit Charge the Battery Before using y our travel kit, charge the battery for at least 3 hours. Charg ing the battery completely (and keeping it charged) will help you get the longest possible talk and standby time out of the battery.

( This process ma y take several seconds, and it will be di erent for each mobile phone; see your phone’ s owner ’ s manual for detailed instructions.) 4: Y our phone should discover a device called a BTSC1500 or a Handsfree device .

Inverting the T ravel Kit The trav el kit can operate upside down so you can clip it to either side of y our visor . T o reverse the visor clip: pr ess in on the two tabs that come through the holes in the clip, and slide the clip out .
7 Common T asks Hang up a call On a call, press Multi-function . Reject a call Press and hold Multi-function until you hear a long beep (about 2 sec onds). Change the volume On a call, press Volume Up for more v olume or Volume Do wn for less volume .
8 Special Featur es Caller ID Announc e/T ext-to-Speech (English only) When a call comes in, the trav el kit sounds a ring tone and displays Caller ID information. In addition, the travel kit uses text-to-speech to announce the caller ’ s phone number .
9 Using the T rav el Kit With T wo Phones Y ou can connect your trav el kit to two Bluetooth devices and use them simultaneously . Just pair the travel kit to the rst phone follo wing the instructions on page 4. W hen the rst phone is successfully paired , pair the travel kit to the second phone .
