• Always stop the engine and allow it to cool before filling the fuel tank. Never remove the cap of the fuel tank, or add fuel, when the engine is hot. Never operate the unit without the fuel cap securely in place. Loosen the fuel tank cap slowly to relieve any pressure in the tank.
4 RULES FOR SAFE OPERA TION • Inspect all extension cords and the unit power connection periodically. Look closely for deterioration, cuts or cracks in the insulation. Also inspect the connections for damage. Replace the cords if any defects or damage appear.

6 APPLICA TIONS With Turbo Blower Add-On: • Up to 145 MPH Velocity Air Flow for Fast Clearing of Large Areas. • Flare Nozzle for Large Areas. • Concentrated Nozzle for Hard to Reach Places.
7 OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS The turbo blower add-on should be installed with the release button in the primary hole. Check Flex Shaft Engagement Prior to Using 1. Start the unit. 2. Briefly engage and release the trigger. 3. Check that add-on is operating.

REMOVING FLARE OR CONCENTRA TOR NOZZLE FROM BLOWER HOUSING 1 . Grasp the nozzle and turn it counterclockwise approximately 45˚ until the indexing button on the inside of the nozzle snaps out of the detent in the blower housing (Fig. 8). Pull the nozzle off of the blower housing.
