6 3 1 . Remove loose par ts and any pac king material w hich may be between u pper and lower hand les. a. Pull up and b ack on the up per handl e to raise the handl e from posit ion A into the op erating pos ition. See Figure 1. b. 8 4 Operating Y our Lawn Mo wer Blade Control Handle The blad e control han dle is lo cated on the up per handl e of the mower . See Figure 8. Th e blade cont rol handle must be d epressed in or der to operate th e unit. Relea se the blad e control ha ndle to stop t he engine an d blade.
