Before using y our co ee machine for the rst time: Open the lid. F ill the tank with wat er up to the M AX (12 cup) lev el. U se the coee pot or a measuring jug to accur at ely pour in the wa ter . Close the lid . DO NO T OVERFILL. Place the pot cen trally on the hotpla te .

AFTER USE Ensure the c oee maker has c ompletely cooled do wn. W ipe the surfaces of the main unit with a slightly damp cloth. Never use abr asive cleaner , creams or sc our ers. Nev er immerse the appliance in w at er when cleaning . Thor oughly rinse the coee pot and the plastic lter sever al times in clean wat er and allow to dry .
