5 OPERA TION Bef ore using Remov e all secur ing tapes. W ash inside the appliance with luke warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water).

8 No rmal Operating Sounds • Y ou may hear f aint gurgling or bub bling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/e vaporator . • When the compressor is on, the refrigerant is being pumped round, and you will hear a whirring sound or pulsating noise from the compressor .
9 Defr osting Refrigerator The refrigerator automatically defrosts ev er y time the compressor stops. The water is discharged, via the pipe, into a tra y located at the back of the appliance abov e the compressor , where it ev aporates.
10 Remember to wash the defrost cleaner in hot soap y water at regular intervals. Dr y throughly bef ore replacing. Freezer When the frost has reached a thickness of up to 4mm it can be remov ed using a plastic scraper .
