14 WSHP-SVX04A-EN General Installation Checks The checklist below is a summary of the steps required to su ccessf ully i n- stall a unit. Thi s checklist is intended to acquaint the installing personnel wi th procedures r equired in the installation process.
WSHP-SVX04A-EN 15 Unit Installation; WPVJ Duct collars are prov ided for the WPVJ equipment. The duct system and dif- fusers should be si zed inaccordance with ASHRAE or ACCA Manual D. 1 Install a flexible connecto r (field provided) for su pply/return air duct connections on all metal duct sys- tems.
16 WSHP-SVX04A-EN Unit Installation; WPHF Duct collars are provided for the WPHF equipment. The duct system and dif- fusers should be sized inac cordance with ASHRAE or ACCA Manual D. 1 Install a flexible connector (field provided) for supply/return air duct connections on all m etal duct sys- tems.
WSHP-SVX04A-EN 17 Connecting a Distributed Pump Kit to a Closed Loop System All piping exte rnal to the unit is the re- sponsibility of the installer. Th e water pipe installation must be done in ac- cordance with local codes. If no local code applies, nation al codes should be followed.
18 WSHP-SVX04A-EN Field Installed Power W iring Power wiring to th e equipment must conform to Nation al and Local Ele ctric Codes (NEC) by a professional ele ctri- cian.
WSHP-SVX04A-EN 19 Low Voltage Wiring for Field Provided Thermostats/Zone Sensors Ensure that the AC control wiring be- tween the controls and the unit’s ter- mination point does not exceed three (3) ohms/conductor for the length of the run.
