Each title, chapter , or track is assigned a n umber, which is called “ title number ” , “ chapter n umber ” or “ track number ” respectively .

15 Introduction Gently insert a fingernail in groove 1 and pull out the holder in direction 2 . T ake care not to break y our fingernail. Place a coin-shaped battery (CR2025) with the side up on the holder . Keep the holder horizontal so that the battery does not fall through.

19 Basic playback T o obtain a higher quality picture (When connected to a TV) Occasionally , some picture noise not usually visible during a nor mal broadcast ma y appear on the TV screen while playing a D VD video disc because the high resolution pictures on these discs include a lot of information.

21 Basic playback About the screen saver If 20 minutes elapse while the pow er is on and there is no disc in the play er or while the disc is stopped, the screen sav er is automatically displayed (when “ Screen Sav er ” is set to “ On ” 51 ). T o tur n off the screen sav er, press any b utton on the main unit or remote control.
