20 Blu-ray Disc™ playback This player cannot play back di sc content that is pr otected by Windo ws Media™ Digital Rights Management (DRM). Un-playable di scs and files The following disc types will no t play back in this player .
21 Blu-ray Disc™ playback Region codes This player has been designed to play back BD-video with reg ion “ A” and D VD-video with region “1” or “ ALL. ” Y ou cannot play back BD -video or D VD-video that are labeled for other regions. Look for the symbols on you r BD-video or D VD-video.
22 Blu-ray Disc™ playback Data discs or USB flash drives containing MP 3/WMA/JPEG are divided into folders, and the folders are subdivided into f iles. (Sample Illustration) Data disc/USB file structur e Basic playback When you wish to view a disc, turn the TV On and select the video input connected to the Blu-ray Disc™/DVD player .
23 Blu-ray Disc™ playback ❖ D VDs/audio CDs: It will enter the stop mode. Press the PLA Y ( ) button to resume normal play b ack. Depending on the disc ty pe, playback begins where it stopped or at the beginning of the disc.
24 Blu-ray Disc™ playback Locating a desired se ction Normally , Blu-ray™ Discs and D VDs are di vided into titles, and the titles are sub-divided into chapters. Audio CDs are divided into tracks. Y ou can quickly locate any specific title, chapter , or track.

27 Blu-ray Disc™ playback Not all discs are available for PIP and 2nd Audio. It only applies to Blu-ray™ Discs that support picture-in-picture features and 2nd Audio. Camera angle Some BD-video and D VD-video contain scenes that h ave been shot simultaneously from v arious angles.

29 Blu-ray Disc™ playback Some discs may not permit memory playback. The programmed selections will be cl eared when you open the disc tray or turn off the unit. If you press the PROGRAM but ton while the display appears on the TV screen, the display disappears.
30 Blu-ray Disc™ playback When playing a BD: Titl e : T o select the title you want to locate. Chapter : T o select the chapte r you want to locate. Time : T o display the elapsed time or remaining time of c urrent title / chapter . A udio : T o select the audio language.

35 Customizing the function settings Audio setting The settings in the Audio menu will configure th e Blu-ray Disc™/DVD player’ s digital audio outputs (HDMI ® or Coaxial). 1 In the main Settings menu, press the ( ) arrow b uttons to select A udio , and then press the OK button.
36 Customizing the function settings Disc™, the “auto” selection tells the Blu-ray Disc ™/DVD player to only turn on dynam ic range control if information embedded in the Dolby ® TrueHD sound track tells it to do so. 39 Security Not all languages are available on all discs. Some discs do not let you select the subtitle la nguage using your player’ s menu. Instead, you have to select the subti tle language from the disc set up menu (the menu that appears after you insert the disc).
